Abbey Sharp Opens Up About Anxiety & Meds – Genetic Testing for Psych Meds Is A Scam | NP Reacts

Abbey Sharp, a Registered Dietician on the Youtubes, came out with a youtube video taking her viewers on a journey through her recent initiation of medication for her mental health. I found the video incredibly helpful, open, and relatable as she shared her concerns about starting medication and her hesitancies surrounding common side effects. I hear so many of these concerns from patients as they start medications for anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. I’ve felt them myself too when I started taking Zoloft for anxiety and depression. Today I’ll review what I wish her providers had told her, genesight or genomind testing for psychiatric medications, and how they are a complete scam and you should avoid them in the future. I definitely don’t have strong feelings on genesight if you can’t tell.
